Basic Purpose: 
Direct all aspects of the financial analysis and planning process to provide sufficient periodic financial information to ensure the resources of the Korea Business are used in the most advantageous way.  Assist in the development of financial plans that facilitate the achievement of both short term and strategic business goals. Responsible for the overall supervision of the financial analysis staff. 
 
 
Key Result Areas:
 
·        Financial Reporting - Direct the evaluation of business results and provide accurate financial reports to the Korea Management Team on a timely basis, to facilitate sound  business decision making and timely identification of opportunities and risks.

·        Profit Planning/LE Process – Coordinate and organize Profit Planning Process and Latest Estimates providing accurate and reliable forecasts in order to facilitate the achievement of business goals and targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
 
·        Strategic and Business Planning – Direct the production, analysis and communication of accurate financial information in order to assist the Korea Management Team in the development of business plans and strategies that promote profitability and sustainability for the Korea business.  Provide analysis of Korea consolidation activities.
 
·        Competitive Analysis – Direct the tracking, analysis and communication of competitor financial results, key initiatives, new product introductions and other financial and business intelligence to facilitate business decisions and planning that will improve competitive position.
 
·        Human Resources - Coach, train and mentor department staff in order to develop highly competent and skilled financial analysts.
 
SELECTION CRITERIA:
  • BA in Accounting or Finance, or related disciplines.  MBA a plus.
  • Significant experience with private industry a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and Korean)
  • Highly motivated proven self-starter
  • Demonstrated ability to make professional presentations to upper management
  • Excellent planning and project management skills
  • Able to effectively motivate and lead a team of professionals to achieve the identified business objectives on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Demonstrated coaching and mentoring skills to develop employees
