´ã´ç¾÷¹« 1. Handling and Coordination of Legal Matters/Legal Procedures. Provide Senior Counsel with timely, accurate and constructive legal advice and support so that managers and employees will know when legal review/approval is required. In particular, implement company policies relating to legal and regulatory compliance

2. Commercial Laws/Contracts. Assist Senior Counsel in ensuring that cost-effective efforts are carried out to protect and promote the Company¡¯s interests under applicable commercial laws and regulations (e.g., those pertaining to the collection of debts), so as to anticipate potential problems and to ensure that current practice promotes the business plan while reducing commercial risks to an acceptable level.

3. Corporate Affairs. Work closely with the Company¡¯s Corporate Affairs personnel to review critical issues and to develop and implement strategies designed to protect the Company¡¯s business interests

4. Marketing, Sales and Distribution. Assist Senior Counsel in ensuring that the Company¡¯s marketing activities comply fully with applicable law and the company International Marketing Code and work with management on the development and implementation of effective marketing, sales and distribution activities and strategies that are within the bounds of the law and protect the Company¡¯s assets and personnel

5. Outside Legal Advisors. Ensure that outside counsel provide high quality service at reasonable cost and in accordance with the company Guidelines for Outside Counsel

6. Labor/Employment, Environmental Protection/Workplace Safety. Advise the Company¡¯s human resources management to ensure that employment contracts, collective bargaining agreements, and dismissal and discipline procedures are carried out in an effective manner, protecting and promoting the Company¡¯s interests and ensuring that current and potential legal risks are identified and properly managed and that appropriate contingency plans are in place. Assist the EHS group to understand the underlying legal issues related to environmental protection and workplace safety, staying abreast of changes and potential changes to legislation and helping to prepare plans to ensure compliance with the law

7. Company Secretary, Property Law. Assume responsibility for such matters as general meetings of shareholders, shareholder registers, share certificates, board meetings, articles of association and by-laws and filings with relevant governmental agencies and authorities. Ensure that the Company¡¯s tangible and intangible properties receive adequate legal protection, and address in a proactive manner any possible challenges to the Company¡¯s property rights

8. Changes in Law. Closely follow proposed or newly enacted laws of significance to the Company and keep the company International Law Department informed of any such developments

°æ·Â -Native Korean & Fluent English
-Minimum five years¡¯ experience in a relevant practice areas (e.g., corporate law, commercial law, competition law, employment law,), including two years¡¯ experience either in private practice or in the legal department of a major multinational enterprise
-A degree from an accredited law school (at least LLB or equivalent) & Qualification to practice law in Korea (bar exam)
- 5~10 years (2+ years in law firm preferred)
-Ability to make formal presentations on legal issues, Process Management, Action Oriented, Priority Setting, Problem-Solving, Informing, Perseverance, Self-Development, Organizing,
Personal Disclosure, Personal Learning, Listening, Customer Focus, Integrity & Trust, Peer Relationships
